A complimentary breakfast from our full hot breakfast bountiful buffet table. We are also happy to prepare vegetarian, gluten-free and other dietary restrictive diets. We can accommodate dietary requests and special needs with advanced notice.

Early Risers will appreciate that coffee or tea is available to start your day off right. Breakfast is generally served at 8:30AM in our Harmony Bistro. If you need to make alternative arrangements, please ask during check-in.

A sample breakfast buffet might include: Fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, sausage, specialty French toast and peach cobbler.

South Carolina Cobbler

Ingredients: 

  • 4 cups sliced peeled fresh or frozen peaches, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar, divided
  • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsps. baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup milk

Method:

Gently toss peaches, 1 cup sugar and extract; set aside.   Pour butter into a 2 qt. baking dish. In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt and remaining sugar; stir in milk.  Mix well.   Pour evenly over butter (do not stir).  Top with peach mixture.  Bake at 350 for 50-55 minutes. Serves 8.

Cranberrry Apple Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 3 cups unpeeled apples, chopped
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oatmeal

Method:

Mix fruit and sugar.  Place in buttered casserole.  Combine melted butter, brown sugar and oatmeal.
place on fruit.  Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.
